... High surf is expected on the northern and central Washington
coast late this weekend...

Large waves are expected to reach the coast late Saturday night or
early Sunday morning. The ocean waves are forecast to peak in the
16 to 19 foot range by midday Sunday before gradually subsiding
in the afternoon. Those planning on clam digging or other beach
activities on Sunday should be alert for waves suddenly racing
farther up the beach than normal and faster than most people can
run.

Monitor the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service
on this situation.
