* Impacts... roads will likely become snow covered and icy.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
... Another day of record low temperatures across the area...
Record setting cold continued for a third day on Thursday across the
Pacific northwest. Portland (airport) and Astoria have now recorded
record minimum temperatures for three consecutive days. It is
possible that more records will fall through the upcoming weekend as
the cold continues... with dangerous wind chills expected Friday
night in the Cascades and parts of the Columbia River gorge.
These low temperature readings are as of midnight and did not change
from the previous issuance of this report.
